News.ppsumuslim – (Bireuen, 23/05/2023). Dalam rangka peningkatan mutu Pendidikan di lingkungan Program Studi Magister program Pascasarjana Universitas Almuslim (PPs Umuslim), para dosen aktif menyiapkan bahan ajar dan menerbitan buku referensi.
Di awal tahun 2023 ini, dua buku referensi hadir menambah khasanah referensi dan bahan ajar yang sudah diterbitkan oleh para dosen PPs Umuslim, sebut Rektor Umuslim, Dr Marwan M.Pd. yang juga aktif dalam menulis buku dan journal internasional ini.
“Alhamdulillah, dua bulan ini telah terbit lagi 2 buku referensi terbaru”, saat ini sedang ditindaklanjutkan dengan penerbitan HaKi atau patennya, sebut Marwan. Kedua buku referensi ini, yakni “Penelitian Kualitatif-Kuantitatif dan Mixed Methods” yang diterbitkan oleh Bandar Publishing Banda Aceh, dan Buku edisi-2 “Analisis Jalur dan Aplikasi SPSS versi 25” dikeluarkan oleh Penerbit Merdeka Kreasi Medan.
Sampai saat ini, telah dihasilkan 12 judul buku referensi karya dosen PPs Umuslim (https://pps.umuslim.ac.id/books/) dan beberapa modul atau bahan ajar. Menurut penulis, buku referensi diperuntukkan kepada para mahasiswa tingkat Sarjana dan Magister, baik dapat dimanfaatkan di lingkungan Umuslim dan beberapa mahasiswa di PTN/PTS serta para peneliti, jelas Dr Marwan dan Dr Alfi Syahrin.
Khusus buku terbaru “Penelitian Kualitatif-Kuantitatif dan Mixed Methods” yang diterbitkan sekitar bulan Maret lalu, ujar Dr Alfi Syahrin, mengulas dari sisi teoritis, dan empiris disertai contoh langsung serta cara pengolahan data dengan aplikasi program statistik. Buku penelitian dengan dimensi atau aliran kualitatif, kuantitatif dan penelitian gabungan (Mixed Research) ini tambah Alfi yang juga Kepala LPPM Umuslim, sangat bermanfaat, untuk mahasiswa dan peneliti agar bisa membedakan metode dan jenis penelitian yang akan dirancangnya.
Beberapa karya dosen PPs Umuslim lainnya, kini sudah dijadikan referensi para mahasiswa dalam menyusun Tesis, seperti “Model Kinerja Dosen, berbasis Kearifan Lokal” karya Ketua Prodi Magister Administrasi Pendidikan Umuslim, Dr Iis Marsithah, M.Pd. “Konsep Integrasi Pertanian-Peternakan” karya TM Nur, MSi dan Dr. Halus Satriawan, dan lainnya.
Rektor Umuslim Dr Marwan MPd berharap kehadiran karya buku referensi ini, dapat di patenkan, dan mengudang semua dosen terus menulis dan menerbitkan karya buku atau apupun yang bermanfaat menunjang academic athmosfeer, harap Rektor@ (Wk).
