News.ppsumuslim – (Bireuen, 23/7/2022). Salah seorang guru besar dari Nagoya Gakuin University (NGU) Jepang, Prof Saeki Natsuko yang menjadi dosen tamu pada Prodi Magister Pendidikan IPS Pascasarjana Universitas Almuslim (PPs Umuslim), Sabtu (21/5/2022).

Prof Saeki  memberi kuliah umum dihadapan 32 mahasiswa dengan materi “Paradigma Pekerja Migran Indonesia di Jepang”, demikian sebut Direktur PPs Umuslim Dr Cut Azizah, M.T yang didampingi Ketua Prodi, Dr Rahmi Novalita, M.Pd.

Prof. Saeki Natsuko menyampaikan, faktor pemicu orang Indonesia ke luar negeri, khususnya Jepang, karena daya tarik gaji di luar negeri untuk pekerja low-skill, lapangan kerja/pendapatan yang minim dan belum kondusif di negara asal serta kemudahan mendapatkan paspor dan visa.

Pada saat yang sama, sebutnya “Negara Jepang pun membutuhkan pekerja migran untuk menutupi kekurangan tenaga kerja, karena jumlah penduduk produktif di sana yang semakin menurun. Hal ini, mendatangkan kesempatan bagi Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Jepang”, tambah Saeki yang sudah beberapa kali berkunjung ke Kampus Umuslim ini.

Saat ini, terdapat lebih 66 ribu WNI yang bekerja Aichi, Tokyo dan di Ibaraki (4.204 orang). Sedangkan peserta Program Pemagangan juga cukup signifikan ada lebih 35.500 WNI, sebut Prof Saeki.

Memang, betul kita sering mendengar masih adanya permasalahan pada pekerja migran. Seperti masalah gaji yang tidak benar antara yang dijanjikan pada iklan yang dipromosikan oleh Lembaga Pelatihan Kerja dengan kenyataan dilapangan. Ditambah lagi di jepang untuk biaya hidup termasuk mahal.

Juga Prof. Saeki menggarisbawahi, bahwa banyak peserta program pemagangan yang mendapatkan perlakuan yang tidak layak dari perusahaan. Namun, mereka tidak berani melaporkannya.

Untuk hal ini, Saeki bersama mahasiswa Indonesia di Jepang membangun sebuah platform untuk menciptakan kesadaran kolektif dan partisipasi aktif pekerja migran Indonesia dalam memperjuangkan hak-hak dan kepentingan mereka selama di Jepang.

Di akhir pembicaraannya, Prof. Saeki Natsuko mengimbau mahasiswa yang ada di Indonesia juga bisa melakukan hal yang sama kepada calon pekerja migran Indonesia. Dia juga memberikan saran kepada calon pekerja migran Indonesia, untuk menguasai bahasa, mengetahui hukum dan peraturan di negara tujuan, pungkasnya. (Win)
